    1989 E30

Anyone every race BMW E30? Thinking about buying an '89 E30 as a project car for the track. Anyone have any suggestions? Is that the best year?

i would get somthing a little different than a bmw as the parts can be cost prohibitive a less expensive car with a racing pedigree would be like a Mazda miatia have been used and proven to be competable cars

fucked up europeans. imagine if the nyc area i95 stretch decided to raise/remove the speed limit? there would be crazy deaths like the autobahn . it's almost impossible to go 70 the way it is.

I've been looking at the Miatas. I'm a BMW fan but for my first track car I probably should go cheap.

I saw this on Craigslist and thought of this thred

Thee cars are very good for racing IMO they handle great have 4 wheel disk breaks 5 speed and twin over head cam
This car is race redy except maby the role bar may not pass inspection

Also 4 k for a redy to race or drive on the street is not bad this would not even buy tires and rims for racing a BMW
