$1500 Ante-Only event is something I really like, but it didn't work out this year.

Ran QQ into AA twice. The first time I got off cheap because the guy I was against was very straightforward and I was able to let it go. The second time I was already short, as was the guy I was against (different person), and all the chips went in pre.

I will keep all of this information confidential.

I will then send you a 1099-MISC form at the end of the WSOP only if your total winnings minus buyins is $600 or greater.

Since this is gambling income, you are allowed to subtract any gambling losses you have in 2013 (even if it's not officially documented anywhere, such as cash poker losses) from this amount. So you won't have to pay taxes on it if you report an overall gambling loss in 2013 that's greater than the amount I send you on the 1099-MISC.

Here is a list of events I'll be playing. I will be playing the fewest number of events since 2005 (which was also my best year), when I only played 4.

The ones in bold will NOT be for sale.

June 1: Event #6 $1500 NL Holdem "Millionaire Maker"
History: Cashed last year. Best finish was 4th in 2006.

June 3: Event #10 $1500 Limit Holdem
History: 3rd place in 2005, but have bricked it for 7 consecutive years.

June 20: Event #37 $5000 Limit Holdem
History: Bubble boy last year, after losing 4 straight hands. Also finished 20th in this (as a $10k event) in 2008.

June 22: Event #40 $1500 NL Holdem

June 25: Event #45 $1500 Ante-Only NL Holdem
History: New event for 2012. Ran deep but did not cash.

June 26: Event #48 $2500 Limit Holdem 6 Handed
History: Have not cashed in this event since it was created a few years ago

June 27: Event #49 $1500 NL Holdem

July 7: Event #62 $10000 NL Holdem Main Event
History: Busted Day 1 2005-2008, Busted Day 2 in 2009, Finished 88th (Day 6) in 2010, Busted Day 3 in 2011 and 2012


So I'll only be playing 8 events at most this year. Even in 2010, when I got sick for 2 weeks, I played more events than that. I might play fewer than 8 if I make it deep in some of the events, which end up conflicting with ones I have scheduled.

I will NOT be playing any of the $1k NL events, as I determined they are too luck-based, since you start with just 3000 in chips. Maybe these are good events for some people, but they don't serve my play style well.

This reduction is mostly due to the elimination of some of the events I really liked, and also because I'm not playing online anymore, and thus don't want to end up $40k in the hole if I brick everything.

There will be discounts for those that purchased in 2012 and lost.

$2500 Limit Holdem 6 Max.

Had fairly close to average (a little bit below) with about 54 left. 36 players get paid. Then hit 3 coolers:

QT suited ran into AA on BB, which slowplayed pre & check-raised flop. Flop J8x. Turn Q, river blank.

Next, my AA got called by Maria Ho's A5, Flop 467, turn 8.

Next, my KK was in a 4-way capped pot, and Maria had AA. J high board, her AA held.



Went out 52nd.
