I'll only be playing 8 events at most this year. Even in 2010, when I got sick for 2 weeks, I played more events than that. I might play fewer than 8 if I make it deep in some of the events, which end up conflicting with ones I have scheduled.

I will NOT be playing any of the $1k NL events, as I determined they are too luck-based, since you start with just 3000 in chips. Maybe these are good events for some people, but they don't serve my play style well.

This reduction is mostly due to the elimination of some of the events I really liked, and also because I'm not playing online anymore, and thus don't want to end up $40k in the hole if I brick everything.

History: Cashed last year. Best finish was 4th in 2006.

June 3: Event #10 $1500 Limit Holdem
History: 3rd place in 2005, but have bricked it for 7 consecutive years.

June 20: Event #37 $5000 Limit Holdem
History: Bubble boy last year, after losing 4 straight hands. Also finished 20th in this (as a $10k event) in 2008.

June 22: Event #40 $1500 NL Holdem

June 25: Event #45 $1500 Ante-Only NL Holdem
History: New event for 2012. Ran deep but did not cash.

June 26: Event #48 $2500 Limit Holdem 6 Handed
History: Have not cashed in this event since it was created a few years ago

June 27: Event #49 $1500 NL Holdem

July 7: Event #62 $10000 NL Holdem Main Event
History: Busted Day 1 2005-2008, Busted Day 2 in 2009, Finished 88th (Day 6) in 2010, Busted Day 3 in 2011 and 2012
