This was ugly.
There is a tire up in the center of the stands, and en engine was on fire inside the fence.
Reports from crew is that there are two people in critical, and people said that there have already been 8 stretchers being removed from the seating area.

In the above video, you can see the camera fan by the fence before the crash....after things hit the fence, you cant see him afterward.
Nascar now blocking ALL fan videos from today's crash.

Actually I think the Digital Millenium Copyright Act is a good and fair law. In particular, I like the safe harbor provisions. It basically says you can't snap react and start suing people. You have to give notice that your copyright is being infringed upon and demand that it be removed. If the person ignores your request, then it's open season.US has some dumbfuck laws.
The way YouTube handles these DMCA notices is the questionable bit. But I sort of understand. YouTube hosts an enormous amount of content. Every minute, about 48 hours of video gets uploaded. That's 8 years of video a day. They can't possibly monitor all that, and they can be held liable for hosting copyrighted material. If not for the safe harbor, they would have been sued into oblivion a long time ago.
So they have an automated system for filing DMCA notices. Typically, when something gets DMCA'd, it's taken down immediately. The uploader has recourse, though. He can submit a counter-claim and say "fuck you, this is my content. Your DMCA is bullshit and you have no claim to this content".
If a counter-claim is submitted, then YouTube restores the video after about 10 days. Then they tell the original DMCAer "We've done our part, and we're washing our hands of this. The uploader swore under penalty of perjury that it's his content. You can take this to court now if you want to."
Sometimes the system gets abused, but overall I think it's a pretty good one.
