let me go ahead and predict what will happen-

90% of the pool will be internet donks that people by and large don't care about
100% of these persons will put up less than 10% of their own cash to play
100% of their backers won't give a shit about the 1% that they own
The few shining examples of human idiocy that actually buy in themselves will never see the top ten
The winner will be so proud that he just won like $500 bucks after you take out the backers shares and factor in makeup
Less people will care this year than last year

This tournament actually has decent value for someone like say Scott Seiver or Shaun Deeb who may piece out 80% of themselves. There will be a big portion of the field that is relatively soft (Guy, Shak, Ruffalo, Macau Business men maybe) and a good portion of the field that isn't the greatest at tournaments (Durrr, maybe Antonious, etc)

The $111,111 out of each buy in goes to One Drop charity but there is no rake so first will be an easy 8 Figures. and 20% of the field gets paid, so for a guy that will normally put up 100k for a super high roller is willing to piece out a high percentage the payout will probably be about the same.

Plus the value of being the first guy to ever win a 1 million dollar buy in bracelet event has to be pretty high.
