    Champions League knock out

Couple of interesting games tonight in the Champions League between the following

    Celtic vs Juventus
    Valencia vs Paris St Germain

Both games should be intersting for a number of reasons

Celtic have so far punched above their weight this year and have included a win against Barcelona . They will have an uphill struggle against a very well organised Juve side. Home advantage i think will play a significent factor and whilst Juve will be clear favouriites i see a narrow 2-1 win for Celtic in a surprise upset.

Valencia are a very good Spanish team who always play second fiddle to Barca and Real. PSG on the other hand have huge spending power and seem to be buying players for fun, still not entirely certain that they play as a unified team but i think they have enough class to get a decent 1-1 draw today.

Anyway you heard it hear first !

    Yup good shouts.

Think all 4 sides playing tonight are drawing dead when it comes to lifting the trophy. But both games should be really close.

Will be a tough game for both sides at Celtic Park. Just think Celtic will have to rely on a lot of luck to stand any chance of going through, will need to make their set pieces count. Juve clearly the better side but think they'll be more than happy with a score draw then see the game out at their place.

    1-1

Atmosphere should be fantastic. Think Barca even said it was the noisiest stadium they'd ever played in.

    Kids run the show there.

I like Dortmund as a dark horse but not enough to bet on them.

I really like Manchester United's current form. Rooney/Van Persie have worked wonders together and their midfield has begun to have more of an identity. If Rooney dropped back even more to like where Frank Lampard plays it would really open up width for Valencia and give Welbeck more consistent playing time.

Messi in God form as usual has to have Barca as the prohibitive favorite, though.

Really interesting Celtic game at the moment. intriguing battle with Hooper and the Juve defenders. Celtic are doing very well since they conceded.

It's tough to look anything past Barca, but based on last years results it shows anything can happen. I have a sneeky feeling Arsenal may surprise a few.

lol such snidey bastards them Italians and have been for decades.

Celtic badly need to not lose this game or zero chance in Turin.

Agree with the Dortmund comment and would say they're more than just dark horses. They looked super strong in their group against top opposition . Having the Kraut mentality will help too.

Unbelievable smash and grab by Juve. Celtic have outplayed them in all areas.

Now at 2-0 it wouldnt surprise me if they lose their cool and end up with 10 men

lol turned over to the PSG game after Juve's 3rd. PSG 2 up in the last minute before Valencia got one back followed by Ibrahimovic getting sent off, straight red and will miss next 3 games.

Wee bit disappointed in the Barcelona AC Milan game. I guess it was a very good defensive game on Milan's part but my expectations were high for this game.

I guess the second games will be a bit more frenzied.

This game in Turkey had me bothered. The pitch was scary bad. They should not have played on it imo.
