The season is 1/4 finished and clearly Chicago is the best team thus far. Not surprisingly Vancouver is the best of the Canadian franchises. Toronto is the surprise of the quarter. They will have to fail hard to miss the playoffs and no doubt they will find a way to do so.

if anything i'd say buffalo is the surprise. vanek is crushing faces and buffalo still can't win games.
