Good show so far from the three episodes I've watched.
this show is money.
Netflix did not pay for the rights, and this series was not made for TV. It was made for Netflix! BY Netflix!
This is a very exciting development. The cost of producing this series is relatively low when you consider that Netflix pays $5.6 billion in licensing fees for all their other content.
It also gives them tremendous freedom in producing a quality show. There are no time constraints. An episode can be 40 minutes or 70, depending on what the story calls for. No need for artificial cliffhangers to get us to tune in next week. They just released the whole series in one lump.
Also consider that cable networks like HBO and Showtime attract the bulk of their subscribers with 2 or 3 hit shows. If Netflix continues blazing this trail, and creates more quality original series, this could be a major game changer.
BUMP!
Season 2 Teaser:
Coming February 14th!!!
I downloaded a HD torrent of this a bit more then a month ago, watched all of the episodes in two days and thought it was FANTASTIC.
Not bad and I should get a job script writing for the show.
Bump!
Season 2 hasn't hit Netflix yet which it does next week but they have already confirmed it's been renewed for Season 3 and are going to be shooting it soon.

Recently had a short stint in hospital and managed to get through the whole series of this. Very enjoyable.
And isn't Spacey close friends with Bill Clinton? Unlikely, but not impossible that he's had some sort of 'small' input.
Also got through the first 3 episodes of True Detective. Matthew McConaughey's character is superb and he really plays it well. Looking forward to seeing more.
This show doesnt look interseting to me at all, but Im bored so Ill watch a few episodes and see if its any good. Keep refreshing page to get my update.
Everybody that watches this show also watched the two seasons of Boss right? That show is just as good or better.
Just rewatched season one again and I forgive kevin spacey's sins. He and that show's first season is so good.
please dont deny yourself the original bbc miniseries.
