The Chicago Bears New Head Coach is.....

    Marc Trestman

Before all you Bears fans find a tall building to jump from, he's a quality coach, although relatively unknown.

it's certainly better than recycling the same losing coaches over and over again around the league.

damn, as a Vike fan, I hoped they would've hired Bevell, and that he would've brought TJack to chi to start at qb.

As a Packers fan I love this hire. As a football fan they were stupid to fire Lovie Smith. If there 1st 2 draft picks were olineman instead of a de and a wr Lovie would still have his job.

The guy is a Jimmy Johnson disciple from the U, and apparently is an offensive genius. The only time I heard of him was like 10 years ago when the 49ers were considering him as HC. I honestly thought the guy was dead until I went to ESPN.com this morning

Yeah one that couldnt get a coaching job in the NFL for the last 10 years. They were saying on tv today that hes still hated in SF for screwing them up. What do you expect its the Bears. Then he says at his presser lets beat GB. Why set yourself up for failure your not going to beat the Pack as long as Rodgers is GBs qb and Cutler is Chicagos.

I guess he couldn't fix Cutler. Nobody can.

RIP Bears playoff hopes for the forseeable future.

    Im hoping they:

    Ted Philips - Pres
    Fire him, but its unlikely

    Phil Emery - GM
Fire Him - Possibility. Replaced last GM. Some poor decisions lead back to him

    Cliff Stein - General Counsel
reports to Emery. Lead contract negotiator. Cutler contract. Prob fire him as well.

    Marc Trestman,
head coach >> Reports to Phil Emery. Fire him.

    Joe DeCamillis,
special teams coordinator/assistant head coach >> Reports to head coach Fire Him. They have been awful.

    Aaron Kromer
offensive coordinator/line coach >> Reports to head coach. Fire him. Leaked the info to the press about Cutler. Cancer in clubhouse.

    Mel Tucker
defensive coordinator >> Reports to head coach. Fire him for sure. Defense was awful. Granted, lots of injuries, but still.

Bring in a new GM, who will want to bring in his own selection for Head Coach.

Hockey Guy: Seriously, he should have been canned the day after it came out he was the locker room source.

Ted Philips the president, might be getting moved around to another position with less responsibility.

Rex Ryan also makes sense because the Bears have been dealing with quite a few De-FEETS lately....
