Druff, while you've made some progress with weight loss, to break through the current barriers you need some extra motivation...

    a couple of suggestions

    - health: heart disease and impotence---get your cholesterol checked. Chances are you need to lower your levels, and that will cause you to swear off a lot of rich, fatty foods...if you don't you will join involuntarily the Shawn Fanning Club

    - stress: one doesn't eat much if you are super-stressed....so you ought to pick a fight with a red-neck forum-poster/neighbor who will issue a death threat, and you won't eat much for a couple weeks--guaranteed 10 lb loss.

I got down to 208 at the end of this diet.

I slowly rose to 225 by early 2018.

Then I gained 16 pounds and hit my peak of 241 in mid August 2018.

Then I had my severe anxiety/depression (unrelated to the weight, it turned out), and lost 32 pounds within 4 weeks, involuntarily.

This put me back at 209 in early October 2018.

Then I gained over 20 back, hitting 231 in March 2020.

A change in eating habits during COVID dropped me back to 215, but I got stuck there, and have gained 7 back.

I sit at 222 pounds, which is about the same as I was during the last Presidential election.

i just went through a horrific sleep cycle disruption and apparently have put on 17 pounds since my low of 233 in summer.

looks like i have to give a shit again. unfortunate.

    truly... truly unfortunate.

I banned flufffer years ago because he degenerated into just following me into every thread and trolling me. He was some older Aussie coward who hid anonymously, and didn't even have the balls to call into radio (even while troling me in the radio chat). I banned and unbanned him a few times, and each time he promisied that he wouldn't do that shit anymore. Then I'd unban him, and he'd start up again within minutes.

He had some decent posts when he wasn't obsessing over me, but those were few and far between, and all but vanished in his final year or two here.

    Good riddance.

Unfortunately 222 at your height is considered obese

Cut out high caloric drinks, and replace with water. I have done this personally cheating with mineral and pelogrisi. Don't eat after 7pm, you have a night owl schedule so will have to figure that one out. I haven't worked out almost all month after doing cardio every day almost.

“Don’t eat after 7pm” probably can translate into “Don’t eat within 4-5 hours of when you normally go to bed.”

I really think the different intermittent fasting protocols are the easiest way if you are just solely concerned with a lower number on the scale unless you’re one of those people who can’t function without breakfast. I don’t even eat in the morning, so they are agreeable to me.

    No it's not.
