Yes, that's real life looting and gun battling on the streets of LA, on April 29, 1992.

This footage is bubbling to the surface now that there are vigorous gun control debates.

It is important to remember here that the police totally abandoned the scene and forced citizens to fend for themselves, and it's likely to happen again if a similar riot ever breaks out.

looks like they don't have enough guns.

as for it happening again, easy solution, raise taxes and hire more cops

Didn't police also refuse to enter Columbine High School for fear of their own safety? I was kind of young at the time, but I seem to recall hearing that was the case.

I really don't have much faith in law enforcement protecting me and my loved ones, and I'd certainly never depend on them for it. Their main role seems to be harassing citizens and raising revenue.

Few years ago there was a shooting at the Detroit fireworks show on July 4th. My friend went and was right in front of a line of cops and 100ft away the guy starts blasting. Cops looked the other way until the shooter was gone so they could track him down later instead of getting shot at themselves.

I think an interesting video that is pro-gun is one that isn't intentional. It is a VICE video that cover's Romney's distant relatives who have a lot of land in Mexico (they're mexicans..) but otherwise they just seem like your average midwestern white guys. It is pretty interesting stuff, but there is this whole thing about how the mormons there have money and so the druggangs (created by drug prohibition/USA) basically try to hold them for hostage etc. THe Mormon's could not arm themselves in mexico. THere was a legal "loophole" that would allow them to legally have firearms, but the local government/mayor type refused to sign off. It really is pretty crazy because the Mormons seem like your average Americans, yet they're really in a bad spot because they have no firearms.

People don't know how the world will be in 20 years. Things can change a ton. It is easy to think the world will always be like this, but thats just because it is all you have ever known.
