Great Albums From Beginning To End...

Very few albums have been outstanding from the first song to the last. Sure you have a lot of great albums with mostly good songs, but there are always a couple in there that you skip over. What albums do you listen to where you can't skip over one song, cause they are all just so damn good?

For me it's every Pink Floyd album starting at Dark Side and ending with The Wall. Meddle was outstanding, but there are a couple of songs I will skip over.

Off the top of my head a portion of my list includes...

Tool- Undertow (want to throw Ænima in there but admittedly I skip some songs)

Beatles- White Album (even more incredible because it's a 4 sided album)

    Metallica- Kill 'em All

Rolling Stones- Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers

    Alice In Chains- Dirt

    Audioslave- Cochise

Because I saw the thread title with one reply, and I thought "I wonder how many replies it will take for some jerkoff to mention Nirvana. I bet it's that one reply." Sure enough.

Not really knocking the pick, I just think they are vastly overrated simply because their lead singer decided to blow his brains out. Had he not done that, their music would have faded into obscurity like every other cookie cutter grunge band.

Rust in Peace is a damn good album, as well as Peace Sells.

Shame Mustaine has always been such a scumbag, it makes it harder for me nowadays to want to listen to any Megadeth.

Speaking of heavy metal... I was watching a Slayer concert on Paladium the other day and noticed Jeff Hanneman wasn't playing guitar. Turns out he got a flesh eating bacteria from a spider bite that really fucked him up bad and has been out of the band trying to recoup since 2011. Hadn't heard a thing about this.

BTW, they still sound great. Lombardo is a God.

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin, I - IV and Physical Graffiti
Are You Experienced? - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
    OK Computer - Radiohead
    rage against the machine self-titled
Toys in the Attic & Rocks - Aerosmith

I'd go with Aenima before Undertow, but I'm cool with either. Also, wanna throw Pantera on here but there's usually at least one bullshit song I always skip on every record.

Bravo. I saw him perform in concert @ MSG and he was amazing. He had this black chick who sucked ass but his singing brought tears to my eyes.

So you come into a thread to not post a list of albums? Dare I say... pussy?

FWIW (and not to sound hipsterish) I was crazy about that album before he offed himself.

Been listening to this for two days, almost like it WANTED to be posted in this thread. And it belongs. 19 fucking songs, none of which deserve to be skipped.

I agree Kunt. The Clash might be the most under-appreciated band in the history of rock.

I'm jealous. I do have a PBS concert he did in 2000 in NYC with the twin towers in the background though - so there's at least that. Was the woman Jessye Norman? She's good, but maybe not right for him.

Probably. I doubt he does duets with many moulian opera singers. She was too overpowering and sounded like she was on a American Idol competition. She only did one song if I remember correctly. I got tickets cheap as I bought them day before and it was next day aired to me. Over 600 for 2 tickets, and I paid 400 for both.
