first time didn't get the best hit, more like a warm 5 minute shroom trip with visuals, walls melting, etc

I recall a guy wrote a book about it some years ago that drew a parallel between DMT and near death experiences. I'm pretty sure he injected it. It sounded interesting, but iirc, it seemed almost impossible to get in pure form, and it did things like increase pulse and body temperature that made me wary. One of those things I might try if I had reliable people around me and I was convinced I wasn't getting some adulterated crap. I may have encountered it before, it's hard to say because there are quite a few things with letter acronyms, probably at some music festival. The shortness of what you describe would appeal to me in case shit went south. I would of course mainline an almost lethal dose if it got me an audience with the wormhole.

Anyways I ordered the 2 plants online (legal basically), made a batch in my crockpot. Shit was super strong. Ayahuasca lasts 4-5 hours, as opposed to the 5-10 mins of smoking it. Made LSD seem like aspirin. Would not do again for a long long time, was way too strong for me (I think I might have made my batch extra strong as well - I didnt want a dud)
yeah, i would not want a dmt trip to last 4 hours.

I smoked it for the first time over the summer. The visuals start as soon as you take a hit pretty much. I described it to my friends that it feels like you are leaving your body and your mind is sent to another place. Another fucking place that is incomprehensible until you try it. When I started to come out of it the only thing I remember, besides being impressed with dmt's power, was that it felt like I stopped breathing and when I came out I had to remind myself to breathe.

Anyvay I have smoked DMT 2-3 times and found the experience interesting, like a quick blast of shrooms with the entire experience condensed into a short window of time.
Real men drink the tea, but it's hard to make. Find a good recipe and set aside a good 6 hours to lose yourSelf and have at it.
Also DMT is produced by the Pineal gland upon death and also (I believe) during periods of intense dreaming. TR's sound so much like near death experiences for this reason.
