Expression of interest: PFA DeadPool 2013, End of Year Polls 2012

On the former site, Druff used to arrange end of year polls for notable events of the year. Obviously "The Templar" has rookie of the year locked up, but there might be some other polls worth having to represent 2012.

Also, is there enough interest for a 2013 Deadpool?

You pick a bunch of people to die in 2013. If they die, you get points. You get more points the younger they are. You can't pick people with terminal illnesses or who are on death row.

I'm probably in, but would prefer the buy-in to be on the smaller side.

My understanding is, each player sends their list (and cash) to the neutral referee, and once the draft/selection is closed the lists become public.

Obv Druff is probably the best option.

My recollection is, in some versions you also get points if you have the first person to die, but I may be wrong.

Generally, the people you pick have to be celebs, and at a minimum have to have a wikipedia page though the referee can always reject someone.

Druff or Jasep for the money holding makes sense.

I'd probably recommend leaving the draft until the next radio show ( PFA, or Jasep/Filthy Limper) so it can be promoted, that only risks a week, and its unlikely your star pick would die in that timeframe. I do recall there was shenanigans with some late entrants.

Having a $10 or $20 buyin pool, and a $50 or $100 buyin pool would most likely cater to those who want to play.

I volunteer to be the neutral arbitrator, if people want. It should probably be someone who doesnt participate in the pool, no? Escrow can be done with Druff, if he would prefer (his site). $50? (always $50). Winner take all. The above rules make sense. Submit 10 names via pm before an agreed deadline. With an option to substitute for rejected names. (must be 'famous' (wiki page in English), no death row or terminally Ill (deathbed, etc). 100-age=points. Picks get posted once it is confirmed you're paid up before whatever deadline we set. End date for pool is PST January 1, 2014.
