13 straight hours of NBA basketball on Christmas

Brooklyn Nets are at Boston bright and early at 9:00am PST.

NY Knicks are visiting the LA Lakers at 12pm PST. Strangely enough, the Lakers are favored by 3.5, despite being 7 games behind the Knicks in the standings.

In the marquee game, a 2012 Finals rematch is taking place at 2:30pm PST, with Oklahoma visiting Miami.

The Chicago Bulls host the Houston Rockets at 5:05pm PST.

The final game of the night features Denver visiting the LA Clippers, who have won 13 in a row, at 7:30 PST.

Your games run on Christmas day? Great stuff

Christmas period is massive for football in the Uk

But our games run on Boxing day and its one of the fixtures I look forward to the most.

All the guys traditionally get a free pass from the women for the whole day/night.

    Roll on Boxing day.

I always thought it was ridiculous that they have an NBA game on christmas & now they have a marathon of games. Let the players spend time with their family like everyone else. We can't go one day without needing entertainment? This is all driven by advertisers because they know everybody is at home & potentially available to watch TV.

I guess 1 plus is you don't have to talk to your family or in-laws all day so that probably cuts down on the senseless shootings.

Nothing says xmas like 10 giant black men fighting over a ball.

A dozen white men fighting over a puck I could watch. World Jr's tomorrow!

Where else can NBA player's families even fit other than a sports arena, though?

What time do they play Germany tomorrow? Hopefully not too early because I need my beauty sleep.

Just looked on TSN & it looks like 4:30 EST so 2:30 my time so I guess I'll have to pass. Maybe I'll be able to shield myself from the result & watch the replay but I doubt it.

Nets-Celtics is meh. I thought the Nets would be more fun to watch but Joe Johnson hasn't clicked and Deron Williams is insufferable and nowhere near as good as he was. Celtics need another big.

Lakers-Knicks seems nice but will probably morph into some defenseless shootout between Melo and Kobe. On second thought that's fun. It's great that the Lakers are arguably 3/4 in terms of teams that play in California.

Thunder-Heat is the best. I'm not sure if I've ever enjoyed watching a player game to game more than Kevin Durant. Heat show up and roll though, Lebron is god etc.

Rockets-Bulls and Clippers-Nuggets are good too, especially the latter. The Bulls are sneaky good.
