I went to my dentist to have one made for myself... It helped! I have a key to mine that adjusts it, & pulls my bottom jaw forward. I almost have it all the way out. My Queen loves it! Ooooooohhhh Yeah! No more snoring, & lot's of good sleep. I use to wake up with horrible headaches too. I am going for my final sleep study soon to find out how much it is truly helping.

Yep, we've had a sound machine for years and now I can't sleep without it.

and the ambien helps of course.

Some folks can't help the snoring... I know people that are 160 lbs & snore like a chainsaw! It all depends on the shape of the back of your throat. I was told a normal throat is shaped like a football, some people who snore, & suffer with chronic apnea have a round baseball shaped throat. The only other option is surgery to correct the shape of your throat if the mouth guard, & cpap fails. Now if you're over weight then yes weight loss will help. I have always snored, since a young child...
