wiganer did you see limitles's very generous xmas gift for you?
Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
WTF. I heard the hoax call and it was pretty lame. Colonel Nigel Fabersham could have done a much better job, but to hear that the nurse who took
call was found dead is bizarre.
First Diana and now this.
People, do not mess with the Royal family.
Yeah, this is big news worldwide, prank calls are being seen in a poor light at the moment.
Even before this incident I was surprised that Druff was allowing his website and radio show (which purportedly exists to expose and stamp out fraud in the poker industry) be openly used to encourage and organise the scamming of food outlets. An unwise decision that may come back to haunt him imo.
This is one simple case of one person making a huge mistake to remedy a much smaller mistake. Did she ruin her career? I think not. Now her loved ones are now feeling the pain. Pretty sad.
"But the prank took a dark twist Friday with the death of nurse Jacintha Saldanha, a 46-year-old mother of two, three days after she took the hoax call. Police have not yet determined Saldanha's cause of death, but people from London to Sydney have been making the assumption that she died because of stress from the call."
wtf? Died from stress? She wasn't meant for this world.
Australia should be ousted from the commonwealth obv

I would consider this as a isolated incident and am sure this woman had bigger issues than being punked.
If every time a incident like this made the world cringe and call for action we would be sitting at home hiding from dangers lurking in closets.
Also fuck those royals if they can't take a joke, this should have been funny for all and could have been pr for those entitled snobs.
I think it's healthy and fun to be fucked with like this some times.
all hail Hydra

I admit I was not in love with the idea with scamming restaurants into free food (though there was a comical backfiring that happened to Brandon as a result this week. I'll let him explain it on radio next week.)
If we do badguy's Outback challenge, it will just be for fun, and we will cancel the "credit" afterwards so it's never claimed.
I have always kept my prank calls in the "clean fun" category, where nobody is actually hurt by them (unless the person we're calling really deserves it, such as someone like Russ Hamilton.)
Things I won't do on prank calls:
- Send someone on a wild goose chase, driving to a location for something that doesn't exist
- Promise money or prizes that don't really exist
- Claim that a loved one was hurt or killed
- Claim that a girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife was cheating
- Threaten physical harm
I have done fake "radio station contest" prank calls, but I always make the person lose, so they don't actually have a prize they're expecting.
However, this prank call also was of the "harmless" variety, but unfortunately the victim was unstable and killed herself as a result of the public fallout.
Glad that wasn't Colonel Fabersham behind this, or I would have felt really guilty.
