Having a kid is weird. My wife didn't used to go to sleep at 8:30pm on Friday nights. We used to go out and get rowdy until 2am. This kid is fucking cute (Pic), but she sure is a pain in the ass.

As I am currently a single parent, with an 8 week old baby lying on my chest- let's listen to some of my favorite music.

I'll start it off with something extra extra funky.

I think of James Brown as older than Jimi, but he was actually doing a lot of classic stuff around the same time. I got to see James Brown when he was about 70. He didn't have the moves he used to, but he put his heart into it. Here he is tearing it down-

Staying in the 80s, but going to the other coast, the entire Operation Ivy album is phenomenal. I love Take Warning.


Heading back to NYC, but Queens this time, a song I listen to all the time- Know The Ledge by Eric B and Rakim.

raising a kid is exhausting ....its real job making sure your kid is okay

from age 0 to 12 you will worry constantly about someone/something harming them....then from 13 to 20 you will pray for strength enough not to kill them yourself
