Went to Tropicanna in AC Saturday. There were 4 of us dudes, we played BlackJack and Craps. At least playing $25 a hand at BJ and avg $40+ a roll at craps.
Estimate we played for at least 10 hours and we all used the players cards. We got beat and probably lost $4K+ between us. Check the comp dollars the next day. We each only had $3 to $13 in our account.
Does that make any sense? We weren't ballers or anything but losing $4K+ and playing at least 10 hours betting at least $25 to $40 on every play seems like they could toss us a few more bones.
Anyone have advice or know how comps work for the table games?
I talked to a pitt boss the next day, he was an A-Hole but said that you only get good comps if you play the Slut Machines.
To add insult to injury we go try to get some food/drinks with the comps and of course you only get full value if you use a Tropicana store, but they basically lease everyhting that is good. So everyone's comps were only worth half. LOL
I know long term we will lose playing Craps and BJ (if your not counting). But it was just for drinking and having a good time. Also we tried to only play the lowest house edge. I think BJ is about 1/2 % disadvantage doing basic strategy. Pass line in craps and placing the 6 and 8 is a very low disadvantage. Then the bets in the back are at your true odds, so you break even long term.
