Although this was my alma mater and football fight song, that's not why I chose it.
It's simply the best college football fight song ever.

Bunch of homers here, listen up:
For Barry:
I'm not a fan of Tennessee in any way, actually the opposite. But have to give them credit, their fight song is the most loved/hated.
A special kind of retahded.
BC had the best fight song?

Looking for Athletic Director
Fired the Head football coach after 7 years of .500 ball. What’s the rush? Give the guy a chance.
Criminally over rated athletic program.
Fading has been $ every year
I missed the 6Toe years. Must have been special
Not two years ago, as I recall.
On Boston!
Generally speaking an awful program. I’ll never forgive them for two things - 1 in general and 1 on the field.
1 one “in general” commentary is the students/fans don’t give a SHIT about BC. They are clearly in the 7th tier of sports in that town. In the few up years they have they are 6-0 or so and have a Miami, clemson or Va. Tech come in and play on a Thursday night: National TV ESPN game of the week type of event....... and half way through the 1Q everyone still in the parking lot. Love my home town - they don’t deserve a D1 team.
2. My on the field complaint is they fucking choked Bigtine when it truly counted most. Sign of things to come for “Matty Ice” (what a crock of bullshit that name is). When it comes down to it there are only really 15 teams in the country that really have a shot at the NC year in and year out. Once every 5-10 years some team outside of that 15 team list has a real shot at being in the NC game (now a four team playoff). BC is Not on the list of NC teams. The once in 100 years opertunity happens for a team outside of the 15 teams. Every SEac has 2 losses. All the other conferences have a loss and ND is out of the picture. You have “Matty Ice” a QB your program probably doesn’t deserve. You are sitting there undefeated as the #2 team in the country and all you have to do is beat FSU in a very mediocre year and you would be playing for a National Championship....... and you fucking choked. 1-100 years - great job.

A thread like this just demonstrates the spectacular fail of this forum has achieved. Even a terrible thread by a terrible poster still garnered 2,337 views back in 2012. You cannot even sniff 2,300 views on this forum today unless it's about the corona. I am starting to believe Druff now in that this site likely loses money. Back in the day it was a printing press, not any more.
As a University of Kentucky guy, it pains me to say it, but it probably is that goddamn fucking goddamn Rocky Top Tennessee fucking goddamn shit.
Everyone seems to know that goddamn song.
Looks like NCAA Football going to 12 team playoff format in 2 or 3 years.
IMO it should just be the conference champs & decide it on the field somehow,
But sport writers and lame asses like Mark Emmert would never let themselves be so unimportant.

CFP executive director Bill Hancock tells The Athletic that the format will not change this year or next year.
The 12-team format would include the six highest-ranked conference champions and six at-large spots.
