I dont think i've ever watched a hollywood film and thought that was some really bad acting by one of the cast, it's not something I think about or could even spot probably.
To me overrated is any actor in more than 3 movies in a starring role that has a major studio behind it. There's literally 20 people that do that work dude. Self congratulatory accolades aside, if you can name a lead actor in a major motion picture, they qualify for this thread because that type of work is so fucking rare. But sticking to your standard for someone that I don't hate but have never been 'moved' by, but has a shitload of nominations and awards?That's not a good one either, he just gets roles because he's bffs with Wes Anderson, and I can't even remember the last time I saw him in a movie. Shanghai Noon or something?

STP, I think your analysis is a bit over the top. Clooney has been outstanding in many, many roles, but if you stated that he was slightly overrated because he usually just portrays some version of himself in most roles and his smug routine can get old I think many would agree.
