Christmas Gift Thread/ Ipod Touch 5 Question

So I am picking up a gift for someone and they want an Ipod Touch

I did a little reading on the Ipod Touch 5th generation and it looks like it has a bigger screen like the iphone 5 and has siri as well. What else does this thing have? I don't want to drop $250+ on this thing so was wondering if there are any Black Friday deals on this

Also what is the difference between the 4th generation all the way down to the first Ipod touch.

If I dont get the 5 I assume the earlier versions are MUCH cheaper and arent much different than the 4 etc

5 vs 4 - Bigger screen, bigger price, more memory std.

Tough call - I've bought 5 of these things now - they are sweet - no wrong answer really - pick a price point and buy the one that fits the price. The 4 will still be a good choice - has facetime and all that - and will save you 50-100 bones - if that is a consideration - else just get the 5 - and you will be a hero - since it is the hot new thing in ipod world.

what about Ipad , what are the prices on those now, Outside of the camera isn't the first generation very similar to the rest?

i'm looking for a Ipad 2 for my son and the best deals so far are Meijer if there is one in your area $399 and you get a $100 gift card and Walmart $399 and $75 gift card
please let me know if anyone knows of better deals online or in person TY
