Then a few times a week they pick out the best messages and play them on air.

Easy workaround. If you use a Skype number (and I think Druff does), you can look at the phone numbers from each message before listening to it. So cap the voicemail settings at 30 seconds (or whatever), and skip over any numbers from people likely to waste your time.

In practice it's a short, entertaining segment. I'm sure the community here would deliver.
