If marijuana is legalized in Colorado under Amendment 64 it would be taxed and regulated similar to alcohol and tobacco. It would give state and local governments the ability to control and tax the sale of small amounts of marijuana to adults age 21 and older. According to the Associated Press, analysts project that that tax revenue could generate somewhere between $5 million and $22 million a year in the state. An economist whose study was funded by a pro-pot group projects as much as a $60 million boost by 2017.

It is just dawning on me how big this is. Kind of took a minute because I happen to be high as shit.

This is how gambling started out, but the last 5 years slowly but surely almost every state is passing gaming measures to join the crowd. Maryland just passed one after being surrounded....literally...by states that brought table games to their casinos.

It could be 2 states now, 10 in 5 years, and about half in 10 years time if the trend continues. Not only that, as time goes on and the numbers show how positive it was then other states can use that as evidence that it DOES work. This was impossible before today, all the opposition said was "it won't work, will be worse, drug addiction will go up...cause we said so". Not anymore bitches, wait til the data starts rolling in 5 years from now, it is gonna break a lot of peoples hearts.
