Paper and a long fucking line for me waiting outside for abut 50 minutes before I got inside the building to wait another 30 to actually be filling out my ballot.

What a waste of time but I believe heavily in voting and their were some retarded state proposals on my ballot I had to vote hell no to.

Nevada uses a great hybrid system. You vote on a touchscreen, with all the advantages that go along with that. But after you're done it prints out basically a register receipt that shows each race and your selection. You view the paper behind a little window, and can choose to accept it or void it. The paper then scrolls up onto a big roll. The rolls are much easier to transport and store than loose ballots. Individual machines and entire polling places are then audited to make sure that the paper results match the electronic results. If there's a recount, all the paper ballots can be scanned.
