    You think the dream is literal, that is your first mistake. The other is that people are creatures of motive and if your motive is to have control of your life and you don't and you can't find anyone to bully, you are more likely to find escape in narcotics.     WAIT- Are you saying narcotic abuse stems from one not having the control of one's life they so desire?

    All one needs to curtail drug abuse is control? control over what exactly? rent? sex? I don't fully follow, but this sounds promising.

    maybe one escapes into a drug induced trance because the user thinks he/she can't control their own life. it's a vicous cycle apparently. although, it usually takes a durastic impact on an user's life to change that though process.

    You mean drastic impact? hmm, what might be drastic enough to change ones life...

    Any possibility looking at yourself in the mirror and seeing 408Mike STARING BACK AT YOU might do the trick?
