Outside of that, I cant find one redeeming quality about ANYONE involved. Usually, shows have characters that you tend to cheer for and like. But here, we have Tool after Tool after Tool, with tatts and Ed Hardy Douche-wear, and crappy hair, and horrible acting, and egos, and stupid catch phrases, and the term "vegas lifestyle" (which instantly puts me on tilt), and just plain awful people.

So, is Johnny Chan a positive ambassador for poker now? I have talked around the tables with a lot of guys who have played with him and no one has ever had anything positive to say about him, other than he is a good player.

He is pretty much the definition of the biggest asshole at the table from what I have heard.

One little anecdote, he is the reason why a lot of cardrooms have rules in place you can only change the decks once an hour, cause he would demand a deck change EVERY time he lost a hand.

Also, what is the big deal with a dumb, fake poker show? All TV shows are dumb and fake anyways, no matter what they are about. You don't see doctor's going out en mass and hating on all the fake medical shows. Why are poker players such haters?

Also, only watched the first minute of the video, but I have to say that was a pretty great ass, especially for an Asian chick. (I am reserving judgement on the tits till I can verify their authenticity. Too much fake tits on Asian chicks for me to believe anything until I have seen them in motion. However, the ass gives me hope as these things tend to run together)

I watched this video after listening to the radio show. Chick was not busted imo and actually did have a nice body. Video wasn't completely rediculous.

Wasn't into the chick because of the tattoos, but I agree that she did actually have a nice body.

However, the video WAS completely ridiculous.

In just 6 minutes, we got to see:

- Johnny Chan speaking broken English

- Horrible acting and ridiculous caricatures of poker player "types"

- A guy who is introduced as a player who puts his opponents out of their comfort zone, only to be shown tilting over being beaten by a player with 4-2 offsuit.

- The producer casting himself into the role as "The Genius", playing an incredibly fake heads-up hand (for US dollars) where he inexplicably shouts, "I'm paying my rent in Euros, baby!" when he wins.

- The "Chico Loco" character kissing what was either a trans woman or a really ugly chick (and this wasn't a gag -- she was supposed to be hot, and you were supposed to be jealous!)

- "The Bully" being introduced while getting bullied himself.

- Supposed high stakes poker matches being played on cheap fold-up tables with even cheaper chips, as well as high-stakes sit-n-gos on Johnny's dining room table (with the same awful chips).

- Redudant "push people in the pool" scenes.

- A terrible "buddies driving in Vegas and thumbing their nose at authority" scene, including Chico Loco exclaiming "Fuck the police!" about 25 years too late, despite the fact that they were driving at a crawl during broad daylight.

- A ridiculous heads-up showdown at the end where the two players aren't even using the same color chips.

Not very promising ... you've got two old poker pros that time has past and five unknown actor / wannabes and use Johnny's house as the location. They didn't spend much on that promo reel. Who is the audience they are going after? They could use another chick and drop one of the guys - for a start.

The guys that played online poker from that house was horrible. Imagine no season 2?

The market for a show like this is 5 years past and never to return. Even with a US compliant sponsor (which I would find hard to believe in this political climate), they won't find a willing surrogate in a eyeball starved cable channel that really, really doesn't want the Fed up their ass, much less KO'ing their new show's sponsor and leaving them with a show they bankrolled and can't re-sell. Put that shit on youtube and pray someone wants to sponsor you there, IMO.
