    YOUR FAVORITE CAR IS.............

One of my favorite cars is the MGA.

It's a simple car but so much fun to drive.

Often MGA's have problems with the synchromesh in 2nd and sometimes all forward gears. I had that problem with my MGA but bought it at a bargain price so I could afford to fix the transmission.

What is your favorite car? I mean a car you owned.

After my older brother graduated college and before he went off to Vietnam my parents bought him a 1966 Mustang. He loved that car but didn't get to drive it for long.

Oddly enough, when he returned he was driving a 240Z.

At that time we had those two rides plus the old man's Mercedes and Mom's Buick.

A lame old car for a lame old man.

I don't think much of most Lamborghinis. But the Aventador is the meanest looking car I've ever seen.

It's petty of you to criticize the MGA. That car is a delight to drive and own. One can easily do any repairs (except the transmission).

This thread is about cars you own or have owned.

    Do you own a Lamborghini?

Maybe you should have put that in the thread title.

    1969 Dodge Charger.

The new versions, and modern cars in general make me vomit.

Truth be told, I never actually drove a 69 though. I did own a 73 Dodge Charger as one of my first cars, and paid something like $500 for it.

It was missing the stock gas tank, and had a giant fuel cell in the trunk. Had a 318 engine. This was my favorite car I've ever owned, and one of my only regrets as far as material possessions go, as the engine blew and I ended up selling it on ebay. I was too young and didn't know enough about cars to realize that $500 classic Mopars are not something you are going to regularly run into. I should have just parked it and fixed it up over the years.

I liked my 1990 silver Volvo 240 wagon that I got from my parents when I was 16. I named that bitch Susan because she felt like a Susan. This car had heated seats that would burn your ass if left on all day. I liked the 1990s volvos a lot.

A close 2nd would be the 1966 Chevelle 396 SS I had in my early 20s. That car was a friggin money pit and I never even managed to get it fully restored before cutting my losses.

My favorite car that I've ever owned was a 1978 Camaro. Obv a necessity for any teenage redneck. Well that or a 4x4 truck with a 8 inch lift kit.

(this is a web photo but mine looked just like it)

My favorite car design of all time is the 1961 Lincoln Continental convertible. This is the first car that I ever saw that I just fell in love with. Entourage somewhat ruined it for me but it is still my favorite.

The new Charger is an abomination. But the new Challenger is great. They did a good job of making it look very much like the old one, while having modern improvements.

Not sure I'd call it a favorite of mine but the Plethore is kind of sweet and goes 0-60 in less than 3 seconds.

I hadn't heard of that one so I just looked it up. That's cool that Canada has a native supercar. The car reminds be of the SSC Ultimate Aero. Both cars also use a 6L V8 with a massive supercharger to create gaudy horsepower numbers.

Lamborghini Diablo SVTT in Monterey Blue

The paint used is something like $15k per gallon, no joke. It's very rare and amazing to see, the car/color/sound combo- Breathtaking is just another word compared to the emotion this car invokes. The emotive capability of this car transcends human communication and to be frank, it's love, genuine love, that I feel thinking about it.

When I could dream I often dreamed of this car and it used to get me in the gym no matter what else I had going wrong, helped me down every disgusting protein shake and I turned down drugs countless times because I was on a path to greater things. How far from the path have I strayed, honestly...

First car I ever bought is probably the car I loved the most: 76 Buick Regal, purchased in late 1991 when I was 17. It looked exactly like this moins the rims:

After the 76 was totaled by a stop sign runner, I purchased another car that I loved, 84 Olds Delta 88 Royale.

    (Both used obv)

The vehicle I miss is my old 97 Wrangler. Perfect all around vehicle for the NE summers and winters. While I wouldn't buy another 76 Regal, I'm pretty sure Ill scoop up another Wrangler someday.

Feel free to hate anything you want. I couldn't care less. Neither of us will every be as big a hater as Azzclown.

My 8 word comment that you've made multiple posts about just said that I'm glad baseball season is over. I only care because it makes Sportscenter intermittently boring.
