In April, 2012, Purple Lounge Poker -- a site only open to non-US players -- abruptly shut down with no explanation.

Cashouts were already "delayed" (in reality, stopped) about a month prior to that.

Purple Lounge Poker promised communications with the players about the status of their money, but missed their own deadlines and went silent.

On May 31st, they announced they were liquidating assets and essentially screwing players:

A liquidator was appointed in July, but players were not mentioned as beneficiaries of any money gained from the liquidation:

Obnoxiously, the company's own statement (in the first link) said the following:

Notwithstanding the difficult decision it has made, the Board believes that it can put the poor trading of Purple Lounge behind it and will be working to bring the Group back to profitability, as quickly as possible.
So basically they said that they are going to fuck over the players and try to put that whole mess behind them, hoping to revive the company and pretend they never ran a poker site in the first place.

Anyone who has money stuck on Purple Lounge Poker should e-mail:

This is the address of a group set up by some players who are going to try to get together and fight this.

Good luck.
