DoorDash in general is the nut low. A driver forgetting over half your order, all of your drinks and then all you get back is credit for the items without being able to adjust all of the fees and tips is a complete fucking joke and a routine occurrence with their shit tier service. In my experience, on any given order there's a 70% chance or so of an error, with a forgotten drink (or drinks) being the biggest problem - literally half the time. Messaging the drivers preemptively does nothing.

Occasionally they will not even fully credit back an item if there was some kind of promotion going on. With the advent of all these delivery services there needs to be state laws to protect consumers. I travel often and use these services regularly, so I never have a problem getting refunds, but the occasional users will routinely get stiffed trying to report missing items etc. It's basically theft, and there is nothing the average consumer deals with like this anywhere near as frequently. I've stopped using them whenever possible. There doesn't seem to be any improvements or any attempts at improving these problems.

Stunning how lazy people are. Lots of money to be made off the sloths.

Always said the last people in America standing will be the Amish. Completely self sufficient and loading gold off the rest of us.

It has nothing to do with laziness. It's just some people don't have the time or simply have better things to do with their time than to worry about food. Without going full low-Tgull here, there is a disconnect on this with age and with income.

For me personally, I enjoy cooking healthy meals whenever possible, but I'm always on the go. I'm now in Texas, for example and was just in Missouri and Arkansas, before that like 12 different states at least for a few days in each in two months. Getting takeout is a nuisance, fast food is gross, and it's not realistic to cook meals at an Airbnb. The time lost traveling and or being overwhelmed by work is made up in conveniences. I would guarantee you that there is strong correlation between people with very high levels of productivity and frequent delivery service use.

I used Door Dash 1 time. My son wanted McDonalds and it was like 7 degrees and did not feel like going out. So I ordered it for the both of us. About an hour went by and I am like WTF where is the food? Opened the door, and there is was. No door bell, no knock, he just left it there on the porch on the snow. It literally was frozen, never again.

Oh, contraire. These companies would not be in business if they relied of per diem travelers.

    Overwhelmingly a result of sloth.

Pizza is the only food appropriate for delivery. Period.
