Kristen Foxen looking to possibly final table this. No female has done this in modern poker history. I should mention history shows a lot of women make top twenty but can't seem to transition playing 6-7 seven handed.

In 2012, two young women, Gaelle Baumann and Elisabeth Hille, finished 11th and 12th.
I had Hille at my table on Day 3. She was very aggressive and would do tons of 3-betting pre and tons of flop check raising. It was effective at running up chips but obviously very volatile as well. After that score for almost $600k, she played some 4-figure buyin events for the next 2 years without much success, then dropped down to 3-figure ones, and has basically just been there since then. Also she lives in Norway and never considered herself a poker pro.
Baumann continued to play more than Hille, and has had some moderate success, but again wasn't able to duplicate what she did in 2012.
Both of them could have had a very different trajectory with a final table appearance. Not only were they young and female, both both were pretty as well.
Kristen Foxen was the most likely female to finally do this, so I'm not that surprised she's close.
I got a respiratory infection at the WSOP two weeks ago. It laid me up for 4 days. It could have been COVID. Didn’t get tested. I did get COVID 3 years ago at the series. The Horseshoe is infection central, with all those people coming from all over the world, it’s easy to catch bug you have no immunity from.
There comes a point in a serious man’s life when baseball caps, t-shirts w/ slogans and sweatpants in public are banned.
I am also of the opinion that gentlemen of a certain age should not wear players uniforms and baseball caps at a stadium either. Someone you know might see you.
Perhaps Druff wanted his table mates to dismiss him as unserious or homeless but he is a public figure

Not rejoicing. I wanted her to make the final table. But she lost a few pots then bluffed all in vs top two and got snapped off. SHE PUNTED. Then she didn’t take responsibility for the tilty bad play. WEAK.
