Some old guys get stronger at the grind with age. My grandfather played marathon sessions even into his 70s that my friends and I couldn't keep up with. We'd have to convince him it was time to leave a casino or sometimes sleep it off and he'd still be playing. It was even worse in private games he hosted. There's a point of course where everyone declines but in things that take mental stamina some people keeping increasing it seems late into age, I've witnessed this in a few different professions.

I followed the twitter feed and personally I think you're too caught up in payouts. Just play the fucking cards man. Who gives a fuck if you cash 30 or 32.5k? I wouldn't even think about the money until the final table approached and I know you're worth more than I am. Even a low six figure score. Who gives a shit. Just play. Nice run. Making excuses that you didn't lose money this WSOP nobody cares man. Just fucking play, you can afford it. Love the beard though. I grew mine for around 8 months without touching it and it got out of control the thing was basically white as snow too and I'm still 49. Trimmed it and hated myself after. It's coming back.
