The place I was working at told us they were remodeling the store about a week before the remodeling. They basically said, "Good luck, we'll call you in a month.". Kind of shitty and unprofessional. At least with some more notice we could have planned a little better as far as bills and whatnot. So I've been trying to make money to pay for upcoming Nov 1 bills. Got a little writing work, phone reviews and whatnot. Sold off my meager online roll for paypal. Thought about the plasma thing, but I don't think that'll be necessary if I keep getting steady work. Wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the scar tissue I read about.

I run around Florida. Daytona primarily. But also Tampa Hard Rock, Palm Beach Kennel Club, Jacksonville's Best Bet, Melbourne, The Isle, and another secret room I'm not allowed to talk about.

And I got a good deal on my Sleep Number. Would've been $2100, but it was a store model so I got it for $1300

You probably played at the old one. There's 3 card rooms in Jacksonville now. The new room is really nice, and I think 5/10 goes every day, although I don't play there often. When it first opened there was crazy action, but I've heard it's died down a lot now. But they were getting crazy big games at one point like 50/100+ NLHE

You probably played at the old one. There's 3 card rooms in Jacksonville now. The new room is really nice, and I think 5/10 goes every day, although I don't play there often. When it first opened there was crazy action, but I've heard it's died down a lot now. But they were getting crazy big games at one point like 50/100+ NLHE

I used to do ok at the old one in St Johns.

I recently went to the new one near Regency Mall for a couple of weeks, and I would occasionally see the one 5/10 table going, with the same cast of regulars, Chinese Lee and everyone. Might have been during the slow season though.

Good. The Boys just ended, and it was a bit of a letdown. Avengers vs X-men just ended as well, and it was alright for superhero stuff. I almost wish that I'd forget about WD for a year, so I could read up a big ol' chunk of it.
