In my case you've missed the ball.

I had one stent 6 or 7 years ago. Every cardiologist who saw me pre and post labelled me as a coke user. Said it straight to my face and when I said no, one guy said we'll see as the tests will reveal.

So he was making an educated guess but he was wrong as well.
They did put me on the statins and baby aspirin routine and I dumped both within six months.

No anti-depressants because they do nothing for the heart and bring on a number of side affects including a strong desire to not get out of bed.

What works best for heart and mind is proper caloric intake and exercise.Wouldn't be caught dead in a commercial gym so I have become a walker/biker weather dependent

It just means you have your blood pressure under control.

It's ok, les, everyone is on pills after age 50. It's hard to get away with BOTH a normal blood pressure and normal cholesterol after 50. Usually heredity will stick you with one or the other (sometimes both) being high, regardless of your lifestyle.

I'm on blood pressure meds. Both parents are on them, too, so it was pretty much guaranteed it would happen.

My cholesterol has always been good, and I have never needed any meds for that.

I'm more concerned about your liver, though.
Your BMI is in the 30s and maybe even above 35. Genetics have nothing to do with why your BP is high lols ...
