Here is the Nicky Pipes history:

He originally was a radio listener who texted me fairly often with remarks about the show. He was a regular listener, and had long comments about it. Usually the comments were useful. They tended to be positive, but sometimes contained constructive criticism. The only problem was that he sometimes took the entire matter too seriously and got frustrated when I either didn't answer or didn't seem to follow his suggestions. This was about 8-9 years ago.

He then called into the radio show at some point. It's been a long time, and I don't remember much about the call, but I do remember that he called in, and I talked to him for awhile.

In late 2015 he registered as ThisGuyIsWhat, and posted some interesting stories about his time in Asia. He was well liked on the forum initially, but he was having a hard time with Pooh, who was mocking him.

He asked me to remove all of his posts and delete his account. I refused, and stated that it would ruin the continuity of the forum. I tell this to anyone who asks me to delete the content they've posted here.

He then took the matter into his own hands, and edited all of his posts (about 300!!) to say I HATE POOH.

I then noticed that the vBulletin forum software provided no way to restore these posts to their original form, even though it did maintain a copy of his original posts in the database. I searched for a backdoor way to do it, and nobody had yet come up with one.

This was a small technical challenge to me, so I sat down one afternoon, dug into the way vBulletin stores everything, and came up with a database query to execute in order to restore everything. I then shared that query with others in the vBulletin community, who previously had been unable to do this.

ThisGuyisWhat/Pipes then asked me to at least delete his Asia stories, as they were personal to him. I agreed, and he left.

I did not hear from him until several years later, at which point he showed up here as NickyPipes.

I did not realize it was the same guy until he told me yesterday, despite him also calling into radio as Pipes.

You're caught up now.

Brother I can tell you do not have much international business experience

Filipinos are great employees and do not have high earning expectations but as I have posted before, my staff there is paid extremely well and at this point receives close to western compensation, but that was earned over a few years and part of that is a commission they earn based on monthly company profit

Filipinos are very loyal and hard working, however a lot of them are quickly lazy and resentful if they are abused in the manner you suggest. The way inspired never ending loyalty in my time is always paying them far more than any other western company would. Most are giving them $4 an hour, we pay them more than that and add in a commission based on profit so they can be motivated every day to help push the company forward. Sometimes they get $2k bonus payments, thatÂ’s a lot of cake in Manila pal

My business partner is North African, you can imagine how he wanted to compensate them, luckily Noble Nicky hooked them up in what could be called the “Rewards Program”

All my employees are over paid frankly, maybe you have inspired me to dock their wages and keep it for myself which I might deserve

I never said I was sure.

I said something like I had no evidence it was a dupe. Obviously there is no way for me to say this 100%. The IP did not match anything I had previously seen, and he was not using a proxy or VPN.

This wasn't even so much a dupe, but rather a short-lived, self-banned user from 8 years ago returning with a different gimmick/identity.
