Let me explain what is actually going on with these hucksters, frauds, charlatans, and grifters on the right. They don't believe it. They hope you might believe it. They are nihilists who don't care about the outcome or consequences of their lies. Many of the same Swift/Kelce conspiracists were PizzaGate conspiracists -- fine when others caused harm. They care about their clout and buzz and how viral they can be online.

It is not a coincidence that many of them are "social media influencers" or "social media experts." They want to show donors and political campaigns how they can make things viral and generate buzz. They don't care that you're mocking them. They don't show that. They show how they trended. They show how they made a topic go viral. Damn the consequences.

They performatively hump Donald Trump's leg and they don't really even care about him. They're only with him because, again, it helps their clout and gets them links, tweets, and clicks. They've concocted a conspiracy about the most popular woman on the planet and the most popular sport in America and are fine to turn people against both and have it all tied to Trump because they don't care about him.

They care about money and the grift, the consequences be damned. Also, they are hyper-online. Their entire identities and personas are online. They haven't touched grass in eons. They have confused the online for reality. They are also deeply unserious people who know they'd be nothing if they turned their computers off and entered the real world.

A lot of political social media, political YouTube, and political TV commentary is just wannabe celebrities saying whatever will get them the most attention.

You will probably notice that I almost never quote any of these right wing social media figures, because I think most of them suck. The only thing they're really good for is using their resources to uncover things the mainstream media would never research. For example, the Claudine Gay plagiarism would likely not have been found, if not for right wing social media.

And occasionally these discoveries can change the trajectory of an election, such as Glenn Youngkin winning Virginia because right wing social media uncovered the Loudoun County high school bathroom sexual assault by a trans kid.

For the most part it's just noise which is better ignored.

The Taylor Swift conspiracy talks are stupid, but I do find it lame that she was browbeat by the Hollywood elite to incorporate politics into her public persona.

For many years she had a policy to stay silent regarding her politics, not wanting to alienate fans. Her Hollywood friends kept screaming at her, "OMG Taylor, you have so much influence, it is LITERALLY YOUR FAULT if Trump gets elected again!!!!111"

So she started pushing anti-Trump messaging and pretended it was because she just couldn't stay silent anymore.

The funny thing is that her entire public persona is far more conservative than she realizes. She has a wholesome look, never sings about sex or drugs, her songs focus upon relationships and not lust, and she never sings about any controversial issues.

Part of me thinks she became a lib just because everyone around her kept hammering it into her head that it's cold and hateful to vote anything but Democrat.

Who are all these major social media accounts who suck bidens cock and can’t stop making memes about him? They don’t exist. It’s entirely right wing trump sycophants who dominate Twitter now. The left doesn’t care about Biden and honestly historically speaking people haven’t really worshipped political figures. Maybe Obama because of the race thing but nothing to this level. The trump stuff is 100 percent cultish. Many of these top Twitter accounts get that and realize they can exploit his followers.

Additionally all these right wing accounts are pushing fucked up conspiracy stories about lasers creating the fires in Hawaii, ongoing qanon shit, Alex jones bullshit ect. They don’t just push it but they all tweet the exact same stuff. The quartering who is a right wing social media guy himself exposed it six months ago how in private chats he was part of the top influencers were discussing and agreeing which trump and conspiracy stories tk pushed. They also discuss how to exploit algorithms for optimal views.

The left really isn’t doing this. And if they are nowhere near as prevalent or successful . Nearly all the top political accounts on Twitter do exactly what is described above.

Twitter much like talk radio has become dominated by the right. There is nothing wrong with that as long as the information being spread is accurate and not propaganda.
