It's not much of a problem up here in Missouri, but if you spend just a few days in South Texas it will completely change your mind about this problem. It used to be just Mexicans and some Central Americans, now it's Central Americans, Africans, and Middle Easterners pouring in by the millions unchecked, almost all of which are military age male unskilled workers.
Regardless of where they come from, and again, visit southern Texas and see for yourself, the two things they have in common by and large is no intentions of assimilation and an addition to the housing crisis, even if they are living in slums.
I've posted about this before, but South Texas is essentially a third world shithhole now.

One thing often ignored is that a ton of illegal immigrants were waiting for the results of the 2020 election before attempting to cross.
If Trump won, they were going to stay back. If Biden won, they were going to cross. This came from the immigrants themselves when interviewed, when suddenly they were crossing the border in huge numbers after Biden took office.
These immigrants aren't political. They just wanted the best chance to get into this country, and they knew it was the Biden Administration they could count on for that.
