Pretty sure that's a fucntion of the new html5 player youtube uses. Embedded flash player has the button by default but is trash on mobile. Embedded HTML5 player has no fullscreen by default, but is better everywhere else.Originally Posted by BeerAndPoker

Druff, if I copy a YouTube link and use the video button and paste link into the drop down box it just echos the link without the added overhead
I have been adding the additional script myself as with the Emirates Todger video
I think the problems are with the youtube short links, which won't work with the default https in front. The long link works fine that way.
first, with https https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ah7s24zaWA
and without http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ah7s24zaWA
long link with https: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ah7s24zaWA
and without.

I've got the bug almost fixed.
Short youtu.be videos now work with http but not https.
Trying to fix https, will try to get this done later tonight
one thing i'd like to add, is that it would be nice to be able to imbed "mobile" versions of youtube videos. when I use my phone I always have to manually take out the m. and replace it with www.

Why can't imbed an image from my computer in a PM?
Admittedly I have never done this before but it only offers to let me post an image from a URL.
I am still offered the choice of URL or computer when working within a post.
