    OKPAY

An online casino that I trust completely told me today that one of their processors was "located in Cyprus" and my check withdrawal may be delayed by a few days. The rep told me this in a "just giving you a heads up" manner.

First things first.. I work all day and don't follow Cyprus banking trends. What happened in Cyprus?

Second off, he told me to check out an OKPay account. He said they have been using them for six months now without a hitch and they send you a Mastercard, so funds would be available within minutes of the withdrawal being approved.

Is anyone using OKPay? It reminds me of the aussie prepaid phone cards that poker.com and its skins were using in 2006-7ish that would send you an atm card. I recall it having a limit, but you could insta cash out and pull physical cash within minutes.

I am still leery from quicktender, but have been using this casino since 08' and feel like they know what they are talking about. I was receiving withdrawals when shit was blowing up black friday status without any bullshit period (though poker centric, it blew up everything in online gaming).

It was spectacular, the way you hope shit will be when/if things go legit. I don't hold out faith though, horse racing has had advanced deposit wagering legalized for a while and you still have to wait for a check or wire (although you know it will come and will clear). With a few you can collect on track, if the track is owned by the adw or has a partnership.

I remember depositing like $50 when I got my first atm card through poker.com, hitting a small tourney and withdrawing $300 from the atm later the same night on a beer run. That is the way it should be. Felt almost too good.

cyprus agreed to dissolve its second largest bank, all large accounts are gonna get hit as a result (like up to 40% of largeish accounts is gonna disappear...pooh gone). As for the why, cyprus was living beyond its means, and it also turned a blind eye to massive amounts of shady Russian deposit accounts in its biggest banks. cyprus is a member of the Euro, and it asked the Euro for help to cash the check its ass couldn't pay. germany and Angela Merkel run the Euro at this point, and they decided to teach cyprus a lesson and, also, have some fun at Russia's expense. long story shot geopolitical bullshit is blocking your payout. and reason #256 why live poker owns online poker's face.

very few things felt as good as wrapping that rubber band around roll after adding to it.

Interesting... do any poker sites handle cashouts that well anymore? Last I played, it was totally SOP to blow off cashouts for weeks, ostensibly to jew up some interest on the funds and hope the rube (me) cancels the cashout and goes on a bad run.
