Duly impressed. I'm one of those who looks at tall buildings and and can't fathom any of it. Is that metal structure a high tech scaffold or does it have something to do with the foundation?

The red structure attached to the building supports a tower crane, which operates above the top story of building. (40+ srories and growing to 51.)

Here's an older pic from last year. The crane was only 20 stories high at that point, it jacks itself up when needed.
