Poker Agent Stealing Player Funds - Konstantin Boldoff

I keep telling people playing on these play money poker apps where you use real money through an agent is not a great idea, but people still want to do it and there are still poker agents scamming.

Konstantin Boldoff, a citizen of Germany who was born in Kazakstan, is one of the agents who is allegedly scamming. Boldoff recruits players via Facebook and per a report from Jarod Pieper, Boldoff got money from the club owner to pay out, but decided to not remit the money to the player and not communicate with him.

Given a chance to explain himself, Boldoff did not respond / comment.

This is why my comment has always been. Agents can recruit but the site or club owners themselves should handle the finances. Let the agents get a referral commission on rake generated an be done with it. Problem is too many club owners even big ones are too damn lazy to do it that way and the agents end up breaking the system if they arent monitored closely. Either the agents offer credit they shouldnt leaving a funding issue and people dont get paid or shit like this happens where agents just flat out steal funds.

Update: So let me get this straight the owner got the deposit but then sent the money back to the agent to pay the player.. Something just seems off about this situation.
