i see that logo maybe 15 times a week cuz kid is hard wired into disney chan
I think it was well worth the wait for hats if this is the logo.
Mickey Mouse servers?
Or why the change?
A better logo for PFA with Druff in the middle...
PokerfraudAlert acknowledges that our message board is on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of Donkdown.com who's presence stretches back to that of Neverwinpoker and the Lithuanians. As such we acknowledge the great role that Tony G, Jewdonk, any many other Lithuanians have contributed to our community.
old logo far superior would strongly advise to change back
I'm already seeing people use Mickey in unauthorized ways, incorrectly believing Mickey is now public domain.
He's not. Only Steamboat Willie is, and there's a big difference.
Any attempt to use Mickey Mouse in any form but his Steamboat Willie version is still against copyright law. I doubt Disney will take action against anyone making memes or joke videos about it, but if anyone tries to seriously profit from Mickey's image, expect lawsuits.
My usage of Steamboat Willie (stamping PFA over the image itself) is completely legal, though.
Ok, I’ll play along.
Is this new logo a nod to old school alt right Walt vs todays lefty Disney?
Heard about this on the Radio here this morning saying within reason Steamboat willie Mickey Mouse is ok with being used, but if done against their brand theyll interact
was told on radio (South Florida)
I actually like classic and semi-classic Disney.
It's all the recent woke shit which is stupid. Benjamin isn't interested in watching any of that, so it doesn't bother me from that standpoint. I just think it's dumb that they let left wing fanatic creative types inject their politics into their kids' shows and movies. Like, how hard is it to make a kid's movie or TV show without inserting political soapboaxing or propaganda? Not very fucking hard. But upper management was spineless and afraid to stand up to these people (and probably agreed with them anyway), so here we are.
The skull and cross bone PFA Logo is tough
Who designed it?
I would adjust the color scheme but it’s a sharp looking logo
You are disparaging your own brand to change your logo even for a day
Hopefully this doesn’t hurt your YouTube brand value
Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but my girlfriend designed it, as a temporary logo.
I was working on a new site called "Dan Druff Poker", but on March 2, 2012, I decided that was a dumb theme, and I also didn't want to make the site about me. I abruptly registered pokerfraudalert.com and branded the site "Poker Fraud Alert", then launched it that same day.
With no time to make a logo, my girlfriend quickly threw this one together. She doesn't have any backgorund in graphics and was just fucking around with Photoshop. It was not meant to be a permanent logo, but it stayed.
Eventually a listener made this logo for radio, which you can see when you listen to it on a podcasting app:
