If this was down from a hacking, why was it right back up when the hardware issue was fixed? Why didn’t the hacker do anything such as download or modify data?

If it was a hack, it was a very poor one.
Replacing the bad hardware and rebooting put the site back up.
It would not come back up because of the RAID drive issue which needed repair. That’s what took the 6-7 hours.
If the “hacker” is real, he should be able to do the same thing today, because I modified nothing on the server or software side.
