And it's surprisingly aged well. For myself who got into poker right during 2003 and largely gave it up by 2011 its been absolutely amazing to reminisce watching these.
Literally gives me goosebumps watching these. They are uploading about an episode a day so not completely done. It's great having these play in the background when you are doing something that requires slightly less focus.

These shows were great in 2003-2007. Great personalities and characters. After that, people started tanking forever and acting like robots. I blame Tom Dwan and Doc Sands. They acted like slow boring robots. Then idiots started imitating them and that ruined the pace of live games too.

Most chronic blockers on poker Twitter are extreme feminists or soyboys, but Sands doesn't fall into those categories. He doesn't block you due to politics. He just blocks if you bring forth the slightest of slight criticisms, or ask any tough questions.
It appears he wasn't a winning tournament player in the final few years of his poker career, hence why he seems to have quit and doesn't have any Hendon Mob results since 2017.

If he wants to be a paranoid freak and wear an N-95 for 12 hours per day while playing poker tournaments, that's on him. I don't care if people want to do stupid shit like that.
However, he purposely wears the mask in winners photos to "tilt MAGA", which is just such a douche thing to do. How about just enjoying that you won big money, showing your full face, and smiling for the camera?
Oh, and when people call him out on it, idiot libs insist that it's "unsafe" for him to take off the mask for 30 seconds during the picture, or that taking off the mask for 30 seconds will negate all the time he wore it prior to that. Talk about not understanding how COVID infections and viral loads work.
Keep in mind that Haxton is just 38 -- an age group not even at risk during the worst form of COVID (Delta) in 2021.
