Some redheads age badly.
He's also 67.
It's been 30 years since he first appeared on NYPD Blue. People do change a lot in 30 years.
For someone pushing 70 he looks fine. Got the I got millions in the bank I don't give a shit look.
The only shocking star I have seen in recent memory is the Top Gun chick who deteriorated beyond belief. Can't remember her name but she went to pig status pretty quick after Top Gun.
Bridget Fonda didn’t do so well either.
Given he’s lived in LA for 40 years with that skin tone, dude needs a medal for dodging some malignant melanoma.
I always assumed Kelly McGillis deterioration, was at least on a subconscious level, probably intentional. She’s maybe example 1A of beauty being a curse. I recall reading an article way early on, like when she was in Witness or Top Gun, about her getting viciously raped when she moved to NYC.
She was some Orange country girl with a doctor dad raped by a couple of ghetto teenagers who spit and stabbed her and left her for dead. This wasn’t metoo casting couch shit. This was door kicked down stranger rape which sent her spiraling into alcoholism and rehab. I saw her years later interviewed and she said she actually had been raped by 3 men at 12. The first story about NYC certainly happened and kids went away for years on charges. Definitely a true story. Assuming it was the second time it happened in her life, I think if my beauty made me that much of a target, I’d probably gain 75lbs and go lesbo.
Kathleen Turner came up to me in a restaurant once, unfortunately it wasn’t the body heat version and more Chandlers dad from Friends version, I recognized the voice but it took a few minutes to figure out who she was.
Really feel a bit sorry for Danny Elfman.
David Caruso was in some weird fucking movies.
He's still good.

Elfman is a talented but weird guy. Interesting how he pivoted to scoring TV shows and movies.
One thing I can't respect about him is his lack of willingness to own his onetime libertarian views. Today, perhaps in an attempt to fit in with the Hollywood crowd he often works with, he retcons his previous social/political views by claiming his early '80s songs were "just being ironic". It's bullshit.
His song "Only a Lad" was clearly mocking the soft-on-crime left (satirizing leftists making excuses for a delinquent who is pure evil), and seemed to be jabbing at both the left and right with his song "Capitalism".
In '80s interviews, Elfman made it clear he was libertarian, and had problems with both left and right ideologies.
Now he pretends that was never the case, rants about Trump, and how important it is to take a stand against modern conservatism.
I understand that people's politics change over time. Danny was late 20s at the time he wrote songs like "Only a Lad", and perhaps he's become more liberal in his old age. That's fine. Just own what you once were, explain why you changed views, and be done with it. Don't try to pretend you were always a leftist who just didn't want to speak out at the time.
Elfman and Caruso look like brothers…or an old lesbian couple.
Back in the day we used to throw shit at Oingo Boingo cuz they sucked. Elfman didn’t appreciate it.
Druff really nailed and was spot on with”Only a Lad”.
Listen to the lyrics and the way Elfman sings them, and tell me it was written by a leftist. It wasn’t. He’s just ashamed of his early 80s politics.
