Rents are nutso here now. Chandler is now more expensive than Scottsdale for a 2 bedroom. 2bed apt in Chandler is just under $3k a month. Too many folks have moved here. Not enough houses and such. They tore down a huge part of a strip mall and area behind it to build apts. most of the single family homes are going up down SE of Phoenix in the county border area of queen creek and then San tan valley which is one county over. When I moved here in 2012 I was paying $900 or so for a 2 bedroom condo. Then $1400 up in Scottsdale. Been in the same house for 3 yrs now paying around $1950 but it’s 3/2 split level with a backyard so it’s a rare find probably couldn’t find that now. Down side is probably will be moving in Feb closer Tucson area as wife’s job is over an hour drive now and 3-4 days a week she’s working 12s plus the drive each way. It’s hard on her and the vehicle mileage wise. (Was hard to pass up the job pay raise was 1/3 more then she was making at her old one).

She has nice automotive taste. Lol at all those suckers with Beemer's and Benz's, always at the dealership getting bent over the desk and pounded.

Rent is wayyy out of control.
Just think in Ghadafi's Libya housing was seen as a human right.
