The sheriff is John Lamb, but I don’t know his political status.
His name is MARK Lamb, and per Wikipedia, "He ran unopposed for re-election as sheriff in 2020, and is a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2024." He sometimes does ride-alongs with Frank and is more likely to issue warnings instead of writing tickets.
