    mighty fine.

i think what stood out for me was the lettuce/tomato being weirdly fresh and tasty.

plus dece buns and good beef.

anyway at some point i think we should have a radio show about what happened to burgerking because for a hot fucking minute they brought war to mcdonalds front door and then like over the course of 6 months they fell off so hard that it felt intentional / personal.
That's exactly correct and I am putting on a Post-It that you are absolutely owed a +REP tomorrow.

My observation on Burger King is that they mean to appeal mainly to college-age males, and worker-type guys (lunch) and really focus more on price than quality. Their food, from location to location, is just north of horrific and is merely edible. I don't think they strive for anything more than having food that is not abjectly disgusting, but if you use the app, they practically give you the food for free, compared to others.

I wanted something quick one day two years back as I was in transit with the kids and the only thing nearby was Burger King. Gross, but the boy complains of hunger. $12.99 and I got the equivalent of four value combos, except with no drinks, but I always travel with big bottles of water in the car anyway.

As long as it doesn't literally make you vomit, there's simply no way to argue with that kind of value.

Wendy’s was good in the 90s, but gone down hill.

Today- like Carl’s Jr, Fatburger and In N Out.

like burger king used to literally taste like flame broiled high quality beef. like with a touch of char. great bun, great veggies, great sauces.

and yeah almost overnight the buns turned into paper mache and the burgers were just weirdly bland and generic.

    america never recovered.

I also liked BK for the charbroil, but they are having issues.

Recently in Nor Cal, a BK closed and became a Starbucks.

The first McDonald's opened in Juneau, Alaska way back in 1982. Skagway, a little town a hundred miles north ordered 200 big macs and fries flown into town.

Didn't feel like going out tonight and there's a subway across the street. The Great Garlic combo was $17 plus tip. Libtard idiots are the reason a piece of shit subway sandwich now costs $17.

The bigger question is thinking McDonald’s opened in 1982… glad he was able to make this political though.

If Subway is charging $17 for a sandwich, it’s because dumbasses like you will to pay for it. It’s called the free market. Lol @ being too lazy to make your own.

Going to the grocery store and buying the ingredients will cost more than they charge at Subway.

Maybe so, but your sandwich wouldn’t taste like cardboard. I can’t eat at Subway anymore. When I was renovating my building for my cannabis dispensary, it was the only place to eat in town. I bought the only restaurant property (no tenant at the time). I got so sick of their subs, the smell makes me nauseous now.

I'm the same way about king crab. I ate so much of it that I'm sick of it.

That is the way I feel about Lobster Tails, there was a time I was getting them all the time, then one day I am fucking sick of these things. I have had one in maybe 3 years, there was a time I was getting them out twice a month.

Chicken wings, another thing I just got sick of. Same with pasta, used to go to Olive Garden all the time, now I hate it.

Oddly fish and sushi has found its way back into my life. I seem to eat is quite a bit now. Also, I seem to eat breakfast any time of the day now. I seem to get omelettes quite a bit for lunch, got one yesterday, ham, spinach, jalapenos, and cheese, quite good.

As far as Subway, the only thing I get there anymore is the steak and cheese loaded down with Ranch. But given there are a ton of sub places now, Subway is a last resort.

    Still love the chili dog.
