Here is another tip on how to get a popular app to run on a phone running iOS 14 or earlier, this time it's X aka Twitter. If your app is malfunctioning, you might want to follow the steps below, because the present Twitter app requires iOS 15+.

If your phone is not jailbroken, you are out of luck unless you have Twitter/X version 9.4.4 or later. However, if you do have a jailbroken phone, here is the guide on how to get the X / Twitter app to work properly, as of today's date.

(If you have AppStore++ already, you can skip to step 3)

1) Add the following Source to your Cydia:

2) Search in Cydia for AppStore++, and install it

3) Open regular App Store, search for X app

4) Long-press (hold down your finger on) the GET or UPGRADE button. Wait for a menu to pop up offering you to Upgrade/Downgrade. If this menu does not pop up after 10 seconds, try again. If it still doesn't, reboot your phone and try again.

5) When you get the menu, select Upgrade/Downgrade. After a few seconds it will bring up a long list of versions

6) Select 9.4.4

That version should start downloading within a few seconds, and it will now work properly (as of this date). This version is old enough to work with iOS 14 and some earlier versions, but new enough to be compatible with Twitter / X.
