    Roth IRA management and investing.

Please share- How are you investing and managing your Roth IRA? Are there certain favorite funds you like? Are you doing high returns funds and then changing over time? Do you have a fund that pays monthly dividends? Any certain investment company you like? (Fidelity, Schwab, E*Trade, etc)

I’ll be back and share my answers below, but first want to see what’s posted here.

    Thanks

Self directed…own some growth stocks and dividend payer JEPI for monthly dividends that I reinvest.

Other IRA is straight S&P 500 index.

    Both Roth.

Self directed is Schwab other is Trowe price

JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF (JEPI)

The fund basically invests in covered call options. It does very well when the market is flat or going down, current yield is a bit over 10%.

I use it as a bit of a hedge on the growth portion of that account.

Thank you for this. This was exactly what I was looking for. I’m happy with Franklin Income fund but wanted to other options that’s a monthly dividend.

I have the Franklin Income fund as it was exactly what I needed- a monthly and stable dividend fund. The JEPI fund was what I was looking for as a comparison.

I mostly do S&P 500 index funds, but I have a big chunk in a self-directed IRA with niche real estate investments.

I used to be a big fan of the American Century Real Estate fund, but lost interest. Can you share the REITs you like?

    Thx

Looks like a good fund. I see the distributions are every 3 months, interesting. Overall, I don’t know much about Schwab, but they are popular.

Also, I’d be down on the 3 month distribution if the returns were higher like a consistent 10%.

    Roth IRA management and investing.

Ok, I need to share my investing story. Over the last 8+ years, I was specifically looking for an investment retirement fund that would be my last stop and pay me a monthly dividend as a senior.

I spoke with a financial expert 3 months ago and he gave me the key I was looking for- the Franklin Income find that pays a monthly dividend (around 5.5%) and capitol dividends every December. This was what I needed, been looking for a long time and completed my financial plan.

So at age 59.5 and after after having the Roth IRA for the required 5 years, I will be rolling my post taxed Roth IRA and other 401k pre-taxed funds into separate Franklin Income funds at Fidelity and pay me a monthly dividend TAX FREE.

I’m only sharing this info since I was looking a long time for this final part to the retirement savings plan as no one could help me and I couldn’t find the answer on Google. Hope this info assists anyone here as it’s really helped me.

Druff- Next time I see you in person, I will cover this with you.
